Troubleshooting: My Akko Keyboard Didn’t Work

If your Akko keyboard is not functioning, the issue can manifest in various ways. Follow these steps based on your specific problem:

1. Some keys are not functioning properly

  • Symptoms: Key(s) do not register, double-register, or completely fail to respond.
    • For hot-swappable keyboards, refer to this guide.
    • For non-hot-swappable keyboards, refer to this guide.
    • Note: The Fn key cannot be detected by key-testing tools. For more details, visit this page.

2. Keyboard does not type anything in any mode

  • Solution: Follow the troubleshooting steps in this guide.

3. Multi-mode keyboard works only in specific modes

4. Keyboard cannot be detected by the driver

  • QMK/VIA keyboards: Akko Cloud Driver is not supported. Use this guide for VIA troubleshooting.
  • Akko Driver keyboards: Ensure your keyboard supports Akko Driver. If supported, follow this guide.
