My keyboard doesn’t register a spacebar press when I hold down the Ctrl key. What could be the issue?

It’s possible that you are experiencing a shortcut key conflict. Some third-party input software, like Sougou or other startup software, might have Ctrl + Spacebar configured as a hotkey for certain functions. To troubleshoot this, try the following steps:

    1. Switch to the original English (ENG) input method: Sometimes, the issue might be caused by the input method settings. Switching back to the original English input could help resolve the problem.
    2. Check for conflicting hotkeys in third-party software: If you have any third-party software running that utilizes keyboard shortcuts, they might interfere with the Ctrl + Spacebar combination. Disable or reconfigure any conflicting hotkeys in the third-party software to see if that resolves the issue.

By trying these steps, you should be able to identify the source of the problem and make your keyboard respond to the Ctrl + Spacebar combination as expected.
