How Can We Help?
How do I fix the Mineral 01 keyboard sleep bug in wireless mode where pressing a modifier key (like Shift) with another key types the wrong character?
This issue occurs when the keyboard wakes from sleep and sends a key release event for the modifier before the second key press. To resolve it, update your keyboard firmware to the latest version. Download Link(Only for Mineral 01)
Steps to update firmware on Windows 11:
-
Connect your Mineral 01 keyboard via USB-C. Set the system switch under Caps Lock to the middle position.
-
Put the keyboard into DFU mode (Fn + R_Shift + Esc).
- Open QMK Toolbox as administrator.
-
- When prompted to install the driver, click Yes and wait until the installation completes. Do not interrupt the process, as this can cause the error.
- If no driver prompt appears during installation:
- Some computers may not show the driver installation dialog. In this case, you need to install the drivers manually.
- Download the driver here: WB32 DFU Driver and follow the instructions on the page.
- Or you can download and run Zadig to install the WinUSB driver if prompted.
- Click Open and select the latest
.hexfirmware file for Mineral 01. -
Click Flash to update the firmware. Wait until it says “Flash Complete.”
-
Click Exit DFU. Your keyboard should now function correctly.
After this update, modifier key behavior when waking from sleep should work properly.
