Failed to Detect Keyboard in Wired Mode (USB Connection) – Troubleshooting Guide
You should try to replace another USB cable and another USB port to see whether the Drive or the PC can find the keyboard (switch the bottom switch to the middle USB or OFF and press Fn+U if you are using a wireless keyboard). NOTE: If you are using a hub, remove the hub and plug the keyboard directly into your computer.
And you should check what the computer displays when you plug off and plug in the keyboard’s USB cable.
Suppose it comes out with the message “USB device not recognized. The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it”, it is mostly like that your inner interface cable has some problems. You could contact support@akkogear.com for more help.
If it comes out nothing, you should try to contact support@akkogear.com for further help since it may be a firmware or a hardware problem.
