Honestly, these are the best magnetic (Hall effect) switches I’ve used so far. Unlike many other Hall effect switches, they don’t have that signature hollow or metallic sound; instead, they sound much closer to traditional mechanical switches, which I absolutely love. They’re incredibly clean-sounding and feel very satisfying to type on. I’ve tested a lot of Hall effect switches with my Wooting, and my go-to has been the Owlab Ti since their release. The Ti switches have a bright, clacky, and crisp sound, but these new switches are different; they sound fuller, more like a classic mechanical switch. It’s hard to describe, but the acoustics just feel right. I’ve seen some reviews mentioning that the switches feel loose in the plate. While I understand what they’re referring to, in my experience, they fit perfectly in both my steel Wooting plate and my KBDFans carbon fiber plate. They’re easy to install and remove, yet secure enough that they don’t come out when removing keycaps. In my opinion, that’s actually a plus. They come with some of the best factory lubing I’ve seen; extremely smooth right out of the box. The built-in light diffuser is also a nice touch, really making the RGB lighting stand out if that’s your thing. I highly recommend these switches; they’ve quickly become my favorite Hall effect option.
